Bastard at work!!!

It's only Monday morning and I'm getting this from the asshole at work!!!

Ludo

I have consulted SS on 22 May before u implemented the idea on the 24th not knowing that Faizal has routed the idea to you. Please look at SS's comments below (they got back to me on 25th) and their amendments to our previous letter to include their requirements. It differs from the standard letter you have implemented. I am not sure if your letter has been vetted by SS. In any case, I think we shld incorporate SS's amendments.

If agreeable, please disseminate.

VANESSA CHONG

Horror horror!!! The bastard greeted me with this!!!

Vanessa

If after I have told everyone that I have had the RS vetted by SS, there is still a doubt about whether I have done so or not, you could come over and see the copy that Leong has edited, his hand writing and so forth. We could also go up to SS and talk to Leong and Daniel, both of whom I talked to there. We spent about 30 minutes talking about the best way of formulating the RS on Thursday morning. I find it very disturbing that now there is a doubt about whether I have done my job or not when I said that I have done so in my previous email to all.

If you think there is a problem with the RS I have circulated, you might want to go and see Mgr Leong at SS to get a clarification why SS cannot seem to have an agreement, especially since you are challenging it.

Upon approving the idea, Faizal asked me to verify with SS for a final vetted version. This was diligently done.

THE FREAK AKA BASTARD

RRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR. How I wish I am an animal. A fierce one. Anywayz, this time I was smarter. I just walked over and told him off in his face. And before I rested my butt on the chair, I blurted: "STUPID OR WAT". Stupid indeed.

This guy has no balls.

Excitement, of a different kind

Have been meeting people alot these days. And because people know what they are getting (red bomb that is) and the consequential happenings beyond the dinner, every now and then the interest switched to my life beyond 1 July and the usual "r u excited about it?".

Right now, "it" encompasses so much. This includes the excitement, anxiety, happiness, sadness etc. which are of vast polarity. And aside from the usual, I am very sure that 12 July is a day that I am very much looking forward to.

Side tracking a bit, I received my photobook yesterday! Woohoo~~~ I'm impressed by the printing quality and for the price I paid, it's definitely a steal. Kodak gallery is amazing. =)

The hunt for materials to make my precious ang pao box continues and I'll have to return to that grouchy florist for more foam roses to make corsages for the entourage. As for now, I can't wait for my first bowl of authentic pho!

Random tots

Was checking out some bridal websites to get hair-styling tips for the actual day.

Super like the last one. At least it doesnt look like it has consumed one whole bottle of hairspray and every single strand will remain in place for the entire week. I pity my stylist, really.

Just last sunday, mummy phong (or chia?) and the rest were having lunch over at my place. Mummy phong commented that the evening gown didnt seem to fit the ambience of the dinner venue. I was harping on that for the past few days and...I finally made a call to the bridal studio this evening! I CANT BELIEVE IT. My co-ordinator's mind must be filled with hundred and one question marks. Well, I have decided that I need to be convinced that there are no better options.

Was staring at mummy phong's increasingly big tummy when we were talking about childbirth and balloting of HDB flats. It's amazing how things have changed over the past few years, in particularly these 2. I dont seem to recall the process of myself coming to this stage of my life. The memory of mummy phong hurting her knee at the volleyball match, us sulking over our elimination from the quarter-finals and our almost-daily practise till dusk stays vividly in my mind. Suddenly, I dont feel like a grown up yet.

Corsages

I had been searching for materials to make corsages for the wedding entourage when I stumbled upon some foam roses in this florist shop at IP on thursday. Somehow, the florist wasnt very friendly and refused to give any discount even the stalks were of odd lengths. With the help of SLA/LSL-KL, we managed to scavenge through the mess and got enough of them to make corsages for my sisters' troop. Adding on to this, today's long lunch brought us to Bugis where I managed to buy some nice ribbons from ANBC.

And.... tadah! The wrist corsages are ready! =)

IMO, the corsages are pretty sweet and very presentable. lalala~

Come fly with me!

I came across this entry while getting my daily dosage of Blinkmummy. Vow-reading by the beach and having it as a non-fanciful and yet a very special and cosy affair.
How I wish we always have a choice!

50 days mark

10 days on, I am now at my 50 days mark. Over the past 10 days, I've been meeting friends for lunch/ dinner and handing over our red bomb. It's a rather heart warming affair to have friends sparing time to pick up the cards and it suddenly hit me that this might be one of the last few times I would be seeing some of them.

Yesterday's dinner was flooded with various topics. The gals have gamely decided to come dressed in cheongsam (given the ambience of GS, this is undoubtedly the most fitting ever) n I am looking forward to our next pj party!! Anyways, things have changed alot over the years. The crazy waterbomb and block catching era is over and I suppose those will only be stuff to be reminisced in future gatherings.

What finger are u?

You are ambitious, driven, and capable. You aren't afraid to take responsibility for your actions - or place the blame on whoever deserves it.You are honest, free thinking, and objective. You see things in your own way - and you aren't afraid to let everyone know about it.

You get along well with: The Thumb

Stay away from: The Ring Finger

Ludo must be a ring finger. Eewwwwww~. This damn ring finger deserves to be chopped off

The smell of nippon

After 1.5 hours of climbing up and down, the new nippon is up! The result is rather disappointing though. I was expecting a much darker tone!

In progress...

Tadahh

I have wanted something really dark. In fact, I have intended to get wallpaper. Sad to say, the trip to Goodrich yesterday morning wasnt fruitful. Getting wallpaper is way too expensive, even for that 5 sq m piece of wall. But I am very sure the results would be more pleasant than now. I'm tempted to make a trip down to Changi again. ARGH.

As instructed by my KC spider parents, 3rd uncle was here this afternoon to prepare the invitation cards that we have to start distributing soon. It's amazing how a big woohaa this can get to, especially so for chinese who are always so particular about being addressed correctly.

Here's one of my favourite pic. Very posey and unconventional for bridal shoots... but I like!

Counting and counting

The 60-day countdown to July the 1st starts today!!!

As for now, we've settled most of the stuff that need to be done =) (e.g. Venue reservation, hotel reservation, purchasing of airtix, photograph taking, food tasting etc). Perhaps the most time consuming task coming up next would be the preparation of guest list and distribution of invitation cards. Sis just collected the inserts for me yesterday and I managed to glue them piece by piece in a night. BTW, my very first invitation card was mailed out this evening! Here's a sneak preview of the card:

I've initiated this space to remind myself of the work that we have done for this special day and also, as part of my effort to provide updates. Perhaps this space and its constant updates would be a vital connection between me and many in future. These aside, I would also very much like to have the preparation process penned down while I am having fun doing it.

I was out shopping with mummy over the weekend for misc stuff like candles, lamps, blah blah blah and because of the special circumstances that we are in, I cannot fathom the purpose. In fact, these items do not serve their traditional purposes at all. Anywayz, the trip to Chinatown is not fruitless. Miss Chong being Miss Chong... she punches on her calculator and decided to do her own ring pillow instead. After gathering materials from Chinatown... tadahhh!!
