绿豆汤

Had a sudden craving for 薏米水 but couldn't find it in the local store. Tried our luck at the mall yesterday and managed to buy a pack of barley, green bean and sago. This evening, I tried my hands at one of my mum's signature dish.


Ended up with a huge pot that P said looked like it could have served 10. This is going to be my staple for the whole of tomorrow!

First time Scandivania

Wanted to keep this strictly work trip but can't help straying off. Planning to do Stockholm > Copenhagen, or Stockholm > Oslo/ Helsinki

2011 - First half

Home in February. Sweden in March. Receiving my folks in April, girlfriends in May.

First half of 2011 is looking good.

Contented

1 a.m.

Lying on my bed, with my phone in my hand. Feeling tired but can't seem to bear letting Friday slip away. Got back from 2 somewhat work related events and realised that my usual Friday is gone with the wind. I am glad that 2 months into working at my new office, I am still loving it. Love the work, love the people, love the place (but weekend is essential no matter how much you enjoyed your weekdays!!!).

Very contented with my life right now. It is not worth spending 1/3 of your life doing something you don't enjoy. I'm glad I don't have to.
