Post-pho

I'm home! Yuppie!

Was expecting to see more for my trip. Nonetheless, the part about exploring a foreign country had been a good experience. Saigon has horrendous traffic and it's made worse as the road is filled with bikers. Doubt I would set foot into Saigon any time soon though.

Our first meal in Saigon

Pho 24 across our hotel. Apparently, this place is quite famous and it has several branches

At Cholon market

Cyclos ride!

I was drenched in sweat after the ride! It was super hot and scary... I felt I would die any moment if some crazy bikers refuse to give way.

Went to sign up for a Cuchi Tunnel and city tour for day 2. Was brought to a handicapped handicraft workshop and a very interesting tour around Cuchi. Guess it was a smart move to sign up for this day tour thingy cos we would be totally clueless if the walk was not guided. The ingenious design of the tunnels and traps were so amazing. I think if WWIII comes... I'll die!

We were at Ban Than Market on day 3 when we saw one of our tour mates from the previous day. Me and couz were busy bargaining when she tapped my shoulder. =.='' Had lunch with her at this local eatery and the noodle was very yummy.

Looks with Zhang Hui Mei right? Thai Zhang Hui Mei. Super alike!!

Our last dinner in Saigon was at this restaurant with a very intimate setting. The food was very nice and the place was ultra crowded with people. The escargots were very very yummy. When we left at 7 plus, there was a super long q outside the restaurant.

And back to my wedding prep. Went shopping with my oldies today and we've finally gotten a nice tea set for the ceremony!

Did some final arrangements at home today and I guess we are almost done in our preparation work for the big day. Woohoo~.
