Not overly excited about it because it could have been a huge trip to Europe. Life is so not fair.
Nevermind.
Just read up on our hotel in Nantou and realized that our hotel is situated at the north peninsula of the Sun Moon Lake, and the private balcony opens up to a scenic view. Plus, every guest room is set up with a natural hot spring bathtub. This is a huge consolation for us. Other than that, we would be spending 4 days visiting somewhat familiar places.
And this is for me if I am lucky. Duty-free shopping is crappy in Taoyuan airport and I am keeping my fingers crossed that this jewel will be available in Suvarnabhumi. My dear Issey Miyake, see you in September!
