We caught the Thai PM on TV yesterday night in some kind of dialogue session with foreign reporters and I thought he seemed pretty cool about the whole situation in Bangkok. And I think, for a 72 year old man who is in the seat for less than a year but have to face constant shit, his composure is rather commendable. At one point he almost flared when a reporter asked if he's a proxy of Thaksin. And he went on for like a minute or two saying something like "proxy or not proxy..., proxy or not proxy...".
I thought I saw 2 protestors taking photographs in front of a building once they managed to climb over the fence. Seriously, most protestors looked like they are in some kind of carnival, not hard-core participants with an agenda but there to join the fun.
Here in Chiangmai, it is just as peaceful as ever.
