I first saw my desired Mulberry in London, then in Singapore. Now, I freaking cannot erase the thought off my mind to buy one. Mini Alexa is 525 pounds in London but in Singapore, it's almost double in price.

Beginning Project Ele

Been busy at work lately (not exactly work "work" but at least I am making good use of my time). House is nearing completion and it totally pisses me when it is at its current state like forever. It's like you go back once every few days and see very minor works done and it keeps me wondering when exactly will I see the house all done up. Kitchen people have to come in first week of May instead of April, so there's like one whole month of delay.

Songkran in a week's time. This is the time of the year when weather is unbearably hot. It's 37 degree c today. Unbelivable. It's forecasted to be at 40 degree c the last 2 weeks of April. I am glad I would be having my vacation then!

We are down to details now since we kinda bought all bulky furniture. I am looking for a rug to be placed in the living area, something simple yet eye-catching. I saw this very pretty multicolour rug. It definitely goes well with our sofa. The question is, where can I get it?

A sad day for LEGO maniacs everywhere! Just a few weeks after its completion, the temporary life-size LEGO home built for an episode of James May's Toy Stories has been dismantled!

Not sure if I have ever posted anything on the Lego House. Though Mdm is not a Lego maniac, this project amazes me nonetheless.

I can't believe that Friday is here again. It has been an incredibly easy week (the celebratory spirit in me kinda outlasted). We have no plans or what-so-ever. No one in the world is ever going to hate Saturdays, so I am looking forward to it nonetheless.

On a totally irrelevant note, I have developed frequent cravings for Korean food recently and we managed to hunt down a nice Korean restaurant that serves amazingly yummy Ddeokbokki and Bibimbap. The best thing about Chiangmai is the ever growing number of nice, cozy restaurants serving a wide range of cuisines. You can practically get anything local (as in Northern Thai style) to Japanese, Korean, Mexican. As my colleague joked over lunch today, the number of restaurants here may very well be larger than its population.

It's the time of the year again. P's having a dealer trip coming up and we are heading off to Guilin, China next month.



This came kinda like a pre-birthday surprise to me. I wasn't expecting to travel (much so since I am giving my cousin's wedding a miss). I have taken so much time off from work this year that I have actually lost count of the number of work leave I have left. Anyway, this is a business trip and I hope I wouldn't feel the guilt when I speak to my boss about it. Come to think of it, our last trip to Guilin was like a decade ago (back when I was a high school-er and Yang was barely out of kindergarten). It is crazy how time flies. Though the memorable 4-hour boat ride did bore the crap out of me, I am kinda looking forward to it this time round. After a decade, it will be interesting to note how things have/ haven't changed.

Anyway, enuff said. HAPPY FRIDAY!

Mdm saw a pack of young beagles at a local pet shop and went gaga over them. Before we got our lil Princess, we kinda had a CHH vs Schnauzer vs Beagle struggle (the medium-sized Beagle is considered oversize for our place and everyone else at home hates CHH). That was 7 years ago. P and I haven't decided if we will get a dog for our new place. As much as I adore Beagles, P really likes Bull terriers. Even if we ever decide to have an additional family member, choosing one won't be easy.

And then there is a third option of adoption rather than going for a pedigree. Strays are a problem here in CM and it makes sense to adopt. Whichever the case, P decided that the dog (if we ever have one) shall be named after his favourite character, Mr. Homer Simpson.
